i cant understand will u giv detail info please
please explain what is test specification and test items in detail
Do we need to specify the test deliverable in the test plan .Can any can specify the some reason for that ?
Jacob,we would need to mention scope of items(Deliverable s) in Test Plan. So that it is specifically shows on what we are going to test and the Scope of testing as well.
A Test Case Specification describes the purpose of a specific test, identifies the required inputs and expected results, provides step-by-step procedures for executing the test, and outlines the pass/fail criteria for determining acceptance.
Jacob, yes we need to specify the test deliverable in the test plan, because test deliverable means the documents which we need to hand over to the customer at the time of release, and deliverable contains test cases, defect tracking documents, test environment information documents, test scripts, user guide, release notes, installation guide.
Test specification means to test the all test cases,scenarios.....And how often to test, how to test,
