As per I can see the series being formed here value of every 3rd alphabet is sum of values of previous two alphabets, if values of A and B are assumed as given.

according to this E = D + C = 8+5 = 13

so F = E+D = 13+8 = 21

 

so answer should be none of these.

2+3 =5, c=5

5+8=13, d=8,e=13

8+13=21, f=21 then how it'll be 17 is the answer
